Agios Petros

In Agios Petros the taverns, super market, beach bars and water sports make the area ideal for families and large groups. The ancient (4th – 5th century) “Agios Petros Tower” is a great interest to the visitor.

Agios Petros is the largest beach of Andros and you can enjoy your swim in the famous “Kaliva beach“, and within walking distance in the exotic ”Chrissi Ammos beach”. Just 2 km away from the port, where you can rent a car.

In 16 km. you will find some of the most beautiful northeastern beaches of the island (Vitali, Zorgos, Ateni)

In 5 km is the cosmopolitan Batsi, the most touristic spot of the island, with organized beach, restaurants, taverns and bars for overnight entertainment.

Ormos Korthiou

Ormos Korthiou or for the locals Gialos, “the jewel of Andros” as described by CNN.gr, is located in the southern part of Andros and is 36 km from the Port and 22 km from Chora.

You can enjoy your swim in the big beach (Mylos), in the sheltered port of Agia Aikaterini, and behind the hill of Agia Sofia, in the famous beach “Tis Grias to pidima“!

Ormos Korthiou is also a reference point for Hikers. You will also find a market with local products, traditional ouzo and “Excellent Restaurants” with local flavors, as described by TripAdvisor.

Fallika

Fallika is a small picturesque village, in a magnificent mountain site with a wonderful view of the valley, the ocean and the town of Andros!

It is the ideal destination for visitors who love hiking. It is the intersection of all paths, where they lead east to Chora, south to Ormos Korthiou, west to Mount Strofilas, Paleopolis, Batsi and north to Apoikia and Achla.

It is located on the southwest side of the island and is 9 km from Chora and 25 km from Gavrio. Below the oldest (founded in the 9th century), in operation, the famous monastery of the island, the Monastery of Panachrantos and above the cave of Aladinos where you will cross the arched bridge of the same name.

Kochylou

Kochylou is a picturesque Venetian village hanging above the valley of Dipotamata where you will find one of the most beautiful sights of the island: The Upper Castle or the Castle of Faneromeni or the Castle the Old woman, where the famous beach was named “Tis Grias to Pidima”, but above all there is the unique view to the Aegean between the imposing landscape of the Castle! It is located 8 km from Ormos Korthiou, 14 km. from Chora and 44 km from the port.

Ideal destination for visitors who want to combine hiking with beaches. It has picturesque springs such as Melissa, and the Levandara with the caves. There are routes that pass through old churches, watermills, windmills which take you to the verdant villages of Episkopio, Lardia, Giannissaio, Mesa and Exo Vouni to Ormos Korthiou where you can enjoy the beaches or visit the deserted beach of Kochilou, Bouro.
